About
The Valley View Eagles Softball Club started in 1977-1978 Summer Season.
Its first President and the first coach (in A2 Grade) was Lee Hull. The Patron for the Eagles was Mr. E. Sargent. Since those early days, we have progressed to a strong club who set many of the standards within the Central District Softball Association.
The Eagles have survived whilst many clubs have fallen along the wayside and continues to perform at all levels. This performance, although generally measured through Premierships, is also measured by the number of state representatives it has produced and the strength in its membership
This is a reflection on the qualities the club holds, particularly in regards to Junior players. Their have been several State Players come from the Central District Softball Association, but this club has produced five who have gone on the represent the State and one who has gone on to play for Australia over recent years.
The links above will take you to some of our previous years histories as recorded by committee members and you will hopefully gain some kind of appreciation of the standards the members of the club set themselves on a year to year basis For more information For more News or Copies of the Eagle Eye, of the Valley View Eagles Softball Club, follow the links.
