Week 1 – Games start with success!

VVESC Div 1 played two fantastic games to kick off the season. After leading in the Game against Uni, thanks to a brilliantly struck home run from Michelle Nicholls, we fell behind by 2 runs, but Michelle was not finished, and slammed another home run to bring in two runners and snatch the game back..
In the game against Road Runners B saw the VV players bat with confidence and establish a commanding lead in the game that could not be answered. As always good results come from good team work on the field, and excellent pitching from the pitching and catching team. All players should feel proud of the results from their efforts.
